NEW HALESOWEN TOWN CHAIRMAN

On Wednesday 23rd July 2008 Halesowen Town announced their new chairman as Martin Kearns of Tiuta Plc. He is their Operations Manager and Company Secretary of the finance group and will be speaking to the press in the next few days to outline his new position as Chairman of the football club.

Halesowen Town Football in the Community has five summer camps running as follows:-

Howley Grange Primary School Howley Grange Road Halesowen B62 0HS:
Monday 21st July - Friday 25th July 2008 Camp 1
Monday 4th August - Friday 8th August 2008 Camp 3
Monday 18th August - Friday 22nd August 2008 Camp 5

St Josephs Primary School Lea Vale Road, Norton Stourbridge DY8 2DT:
Monday 28th July - Fri 1st August 2008 Camp 2
Monday 11th - Friday 15th August 2008 Camp 4

Times are 9.45am start - 3.00pm finish

Cost £40.00 per week or £9.00 per Day
Ages are 5yrs - 14yrs

Each Friday there will be a camp presentation at 2pm where each child will receive a certificate
and evaluation along with a free football. One player from each camp will receive a camper of the week award.

Your child will need to bring
Football kit (shirt, shorts, socks), outdoor trainers, waterproof jacket, packed lunch and lots of NON FIZZY DRINKS.

Over 250 kids have already booked on these camps, please get your bookings in as we suspect not many places will remain on the day.

FOURTH PRE-SEASON GAME

On Tuesday (22nd July 2008) Halesowen travelled the short distance to Bromsgrove Rovers and returned with an excellent 4-2 victory, including a hat-trick for Dean Brennan.

The draw for this season's GX (League) Cup has paired Halesowen away at Sutton Coldfield Town, in the Preliminary Round, to be played on Tuesday 23rd September 2008. The winners will be at home to Stourbridge on Tuesday 28th October 2008.
