Community Membership Scheme
For the first time in its 130 Year History Halesowen Town Football club is opening its arms for the community to decide the level of sporting entertainment that takes place on its doorstep.
The club is launching a community membership scheme with the view of providing a stable income for the football club. All subscriptions collected from the scheme will go directly towards the player budget which will effectively determine the quality of football on the playing field.
The club is currently in the process of negotiating a number of contra deals with local businesses and service providers who will become the exclusive partners for the scheme providing discounts for the membership in exchange for having a trade monopoly over competitors.
The categories of partner business currently being sought by the club include:
Baby and Nursery-Pushchairs & Strollers, Baby Safety, Cots & Cribs
Books DVD’s & Music- Music CD’s, DVD’s, Magazine Subscriptions,
Car Accessories – Insurance, In Car entertainment, Car Parts
Computers & Software- Laptops, printers, Inkjet Cartridges
Fashion & Lingerie- Mens Fashion, Womens fashion, Children
Health & Beauty-Aftershave, Perfume, Cosmetics
Household Appliances-Fridges, Cookers, washer driers
Sports & Fitness-Fitness Equipment, Outdoor Adventure, Martial Arts
Televisions- LCD TV’s Plasma TV’s
Companies who may be interested in providing discounted goods and services in exchange for being exclusive trade monopoly partners with the scheme should make contact with the club as soon as possible as categories are starting to be filled.
To kick off the scheme with members the Ingram Brothers are offering the chance for one lucky member to go to the world cup final for free.
The fee to join the community scheme is set at £5.00 per month with savings expected to be in the region of at least £20 per month for the average household using average consumer goods and services.
To enter into the free world cup ticket competition members will be required to join on a discounted annual basis, costing £45-00 for the year.
Becoming a member will also offer other benefits including discounted entry to matches at the Grove.
