General Maintenance Team

 

Basis:
Voluntary

 

Reports to:
Stadium Manager

 

Main Responsibility:
To maintain ground maintenance up to a high standard

 

Skills and Experience:
Team worker
Punctuality
Reliability

 

Hours required:   
As and when required

 

 

Trade Maintenance Team

 

Basis:
Voluntary/Services Exchange

 

Reports to:
Stadium Manager

 

Main Responsibility:
To maintain ground trade maintenance areas

 

Skills and Experience:
Electrician
Carpentry
Plumbing
Gardener
Painter & Decorator
Plasterer

 

Hours required: 
As and when required

 

 

Match Day Stewards

 

Basis:
Voluntary

 

Reports to:
Match Day Coordinator

 

Main Responsibility:
To assist in crowd management.
To reduce crowd related problems, including maintaining a state of calm to minimize any injury.
Prevent unauthorised access to the site by public, and to restricted areas by guests.
If necessary to provide assistance and support to the emergency services in the event of a major incident.
Be active in ensuring the health and wellbeing of all supporters & guests
To report any activity that could harm others.
To follow club health & safety policy

 

Skills and Experience:
Experience in stewarding is preferable but not essential
Experience and understanding of working with the public
Ability to work as a team in a public facing environment
Flexible can do attitude with an approachable and enthusiastic manner
Punctuality

 

Hours required:   
All home games (Tuesday evenings & Saturdays) Approx 4 hours per game

 

 

Match Day Cleaners

Basis:
Volunteer

 

Main Responsibility:
To complete a general tidy up around ground after each game
Empty all rubbish bins
Ensure changing rooms and washroom faculties are of a suitable standard

 

Reports to:
Stadium Manager

 

Skills and Experience:
Ability to ensure all health & safety guidelines are fulfilled
To understand basic levels of health & Hygiene
Team worker
Punctuality

 

Hours required:   
All home games (Tuesday evenings & Saturdays) Approx 1 hour after each game

 

 

Match Day Programme sales team

 

Basis:
Voluntary

 

Reports to:
Match Day Coordinator

 

Main Responsibility:
To encourage and increase programme sales

 

Skills and Experience
Ability to work as a team in a public facing environment
Customer service skills
Punctuality

 

Hours required:   
All home games (Tuesday evenings & Saturdays) Approx 1 hour per game

 

 

Match Day Co-ordinator

 

Basis
Volunteer

 

Main Responsibility:
To co-ordinate and ensure smooth running of home match day operations
To effectively comply with Health & Safety Policies
To effectively comply with F.A regulations
To liaise with staff and volunteers

 

Reports to
Managing Director

 

Skills and Experience
Previous knowledge of match day operations would be an advantage
Experience and understanding of working with the public
Ability to work as a team leader  in a public facing environment
Flexible can do attitude with an approachable and enthusiastic manner
Punctuality

 

Hours required:   
All home games (Tuesday evenings & Saturdays) Approx 5 hour per game

 

 

Webmaster (Vacancy Filled)

 

Basis:
Voluntary

 

Reports to:
Managing Director

 

Main Responsibility:
To maintain and update club web site on a daily basis

 

Skills and Experience:
Basic computer skills
Basic understanding of  working with web based content management systems.
HTML useful but not a necessity

 

Hours Required:
Approx 1 hour a day

 

 

Telesales Executives

 

Basis:
Commission based sales

 

Reports to:
Managing Director

 

Main Responsibility:
To sell advertising space into new Club Lifestyle Magazine

 

Skills and Experience:
Sales skills a bonus but not necessary (training will be given)
Ability to work unsupervised
Determined self starter with get up and go
Ability to chat and get on with people over the phone
Friendly nature and positive attitude

 

Hours Required:
Minimum of 4 hours a day 3 days per week recommended to make decent money

 

 

Marketing Executive (Vacancy Filled)

 

Basis:
Voluntary

 

Reports to:
Managing Director

 

Main Responsibility:
To help positively market the football club to the Halesowen Community

 

Skills and Experience:
Practical minded
Creative thinking
Easy to get on with

 

Hours Required:
One meeting per week
Variable depending on tasks at hand
