Ground Repairs and Maintenance Begin

Following the recent appeal made by the club for vacancies to help out around the Grove, members of the Yeltz Trust Supporters Association we’re eager to assist.

A general maintence team led by Vice Chairman Gary Willets has started working with newly appointed stadium manager Mick Serdge to tidy up the Ground in preparation for the Football Leagues ground grading assessment due to take place at the end of the month.

Despite the recent news that the club may not be eligible to enter the FA cup, Gary Willets was positive commenting that “all is not lost and its great that Trust and Club were starting to move together as one.”

Graham Ingram further commented “it seems that the effect of so much muck being thrown at this club and highlighted in the Local press is actually having the effect of pulling the locals together with a common cause. Contractors will shortly be brought in to assist with the heavier work required around the ground to ensure the Football Association’s tight deadlines are met".
