Ingram Brothers Seal Purchase of the Yeltz

Brothers Graham and Godfrey Ingram are the new owners of the Club. Graham Ingram's bid was accepted by a huge 87% of creditors and shareholders and opens the way for the club to come out of administration.

Administrator Gary Pettit of Marshman Price said: “This is great news for the club and I am delighted to report that creditors approved their proposals, including the sale of the company.”

The past two years have been a torrid time for the club off the pitch and hopefully, with this commercial decision by the creditors, both the club and its local community can enjoy a brighter future.”

He added: “I appreciate it is difficult, but I would urge the local community to look forward and put the past behind them; support your club whose performance on the pitch deserves recognition and get behind the new owner.”

Mr Pettit said: “ We know some fans have been frustrated at not knowing where things stand but we have been waiting for the appeal period to run its course and although we were confident there would be no valid reason for appeal we had to wait out this process.

Having now come through the appeal period with no appeals being made the club will remain in administration in the short term while regulatory matters are concluded.  Once these matters are concluded We would hope to do a full hand over to Graham Ingram early next month.

Graham added "Its been quite a frustrating time for all concerned including us. There are so many boxes to tick, but we're footballing people and just want to get on with it. I have been working very closely with my CEO Brendan Phillips on commercial activities to re launch the football club. Its been on its knees for far too long".

Godfrey added " Yes Graham's been working very hard on commercial initiatives to start securing the clubs financial future. I on the other hand have been working closely with Matty helping ensure we have a competent and competitive squad that delivers an exciting product on the pitch".
